Declaration - Membership Guidelines for PhD Students and Postdoctoral Fellows
The Institute provides a synergistic platform for members to conduct cutting edge research on the neuroscience of cognition and learning with foci spanning from molecule to educational outcome. Our diverse intellectual background and collaborative spirit enable us to perform research that cannot be done within the traditional disciplinary boundaries.
Benefits of membership include:
- Eligibility to apply for BMI funding
- Access to shared facilities and equipment
- Opportunities for networking with BMI scientists, visitors and students and Postdoctoral Fellows
Requirements of membership include:
- Nominated by a PI who is an existing BMI member. For PIs who are interested in becoming a member, please contact the BMI office on 3943 4715 or hkbrain@cuhk.edu.hk
- Being a PhD student or Postdoctoral Fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Postdoctoral fellows also include doctoral degree holders working in a member’s laboratory who carry the titles of research associates and research fellows.
- Active participation in BMI events
- Attendance of the BMI Annual Symposium
