Event Name: InnoCarnival 創新科技嘉年華 2026 Event Date: 24 October - 1 November 2026 Venue: Hong Kong Science Park Application Deadline: 6 Jul 2026 (Mon), 23:59 WHO can apply? 1) The Person-In-Charge (PIC) must be full time staff at CUHK holding positions within professoriate or research academic ranks 2) Projects that are led or co-led by CUHK's staff members, presenting the use of CUHK's IP or holding a license for CUHK's IP 3) The IP of innovations presented at this event must be owned/ co-owned by CUHK 4）Priority will be given to applicants who have at least submitted a patent filing submission to KTO. Application Details Step 1: Complete the online application form for KTO vetting (By 6 Jul 2026) Step 2: Interview and vetting (~ Mid Jul 2026, TBC) Step 3: Confirmation email will be sent to shortlisted applicant teams (~ Late Jul - Early Aug 2026, TBC) Step 4: Shortlisted teams will work closely with KTO on the poster development and InnoCarnival 2026 related matters (~ Early Aug 2026, TBC) Important notes • Project teams are required to maintain a physical presence at their designated booths throughout the duration of the event. The attendance records will be retained by the Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) and may serve as a reference for the screening and selection of teams in future KT events. • Additional work on poster development and event preparation will be needed before the physical presentation in InnoCarnival 2026. • Final selection of teams will be subject to an internal review by the KTO and acceptance by the main organizer and/or corporate partners, which deemed appropriate. • All applications should be submitted to the Knowledge Transfer Events Management Team, Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO). If no record of information submission is received, KTO reserves the right to exclude the project from the CUHK pavilion and promotional activities.
