Event Name: 6th Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions Hong Kong Event Date: 19 - 20 Nov 2026 Venue: HKCEC, Hong Kong Nomination Application Deadline: 29 May 2026 (Fri), 23:59 WHO can apply? 1) The Person-In-Charge (PIC) must be full time staff at CUHK holding positions within professoriate or research academic ranks 2) Preference will be given to applicants using CUHK Technology 3) Start-ups with a focus on technologies including but not limited to i) Smart City Infrastructure, Building, Artificial Intelligence, Protection of the environment, Energy ii) Smart Home & Living Wellness Equipment & Appliances, Textiles iii) Smart Finance Fintech, Blockchain & DLT, RegTech, Electronics, Computer Sciences, Software iv) Health Technologies & Medicine Accessories, Internet of Medical Technology (IoMT) & MedTech v) Smart Transportation Drones and Applications, Autonomous Transport, Motor Vehicles, Ships, Aviation, Accessories vi) Smart Industry Mechanics, Agriculture, Processing, Machinery Tools, Materials Application Details Step 1: Complete the online application form for KTO vetting* (By 29 May 2026) Step 2: Interview and vetting (~ Early - Mid Jun 2026, TBC) Step 3: Confirmation email will be sent to shortlisted applicant teams (~ Late Jun - Early Jul 2026, TBC) Step 4: Shortlisted teams will work closely with KTO on the poster development and AEII related matters (~ Mid Jul - Mid Sep 2026, TBC) [Important Note] 1) KTO will cover the costs of registration, booth and entry passes 2) Local transportation and logistics will NOT be provided 3) Project teams are required to maintain a physical presence at their designated booths throughout the duration of the event. The attendance records will be retained by the Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) and may serve as a reference for the screening and selection of teams in future KT events. 4) Additional works on poster development and event preparation will be needed prior to physical presentation at HKCEC in Nov 2026 5) The final selection of teams will be subject to an internal review by the KTO vetting committee and acceptance by the main organizer 6) All applications should be submitted to Knowledge Transfer Events Management Team, Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO). If no record of information submission is received, KTO reserves the right to exclude the project from the CUHK pavilion and promotional activities.
