I. Assessment Methods for GECW1000/ 2000/ 3000/ 4000 (2025–26)
Special Note
: In 2025–26, attendance at CD and HTD will
NOT
be counted for non-credit bearing College General Education (CGE) courses: GECW1000/ 2000/ 3000/ 4000. However, meal plan participants are required to swipe their SID cards at the registration counter for identity verification. CD participation will also continue to serve as an important reference for the College in considering College scholarships, awards and spare hotel places under special application.
Requirements for obtaining a PP grade for the above CGE courses are as follows:
Regular meal plan participates (Years 1, 2, 3 & 4)
To participate in
5 activities organized/ accepted by the College per term
Students granted CD exemption for the full duration of Term 2/ whole year
To participate in
8 activities organized/ accepted by the College per term
