University-endorsed Off-campus Accommodation in Collaboration with Henderson - Online Application Form for Residents (2025-26)

CUHK is pleased to introduce its first University-endorsed off-campus accommodation. Students can rent fully furnished units at a newly constructed residential building in Tai Po, developed and managed by Henderson Land, at exclusive discounted rates.

To support shared living arrangements, CUHK will assist in matching students with suitable roommates. All roommates will be CUHK students to ensure a safe and secure living environment.

Section III - Roommate Preference
Applicants who have expressed mutual consent will be matched as roommates. Note that each applicant must submit an individual form and list all preferred roommates.

If you do not specify preferred roommates, or if the number of preferred roommates is fewer than the room capacity, CUHK will assign roommates to you. 2. Rental agreements will be made directly between students and Henderson. Students will assume the usual responsibilities and risks associated with private lease agreements. Students sharing the same unit will enter into a joint and several tenancy agreement with Henderson. CUHK holds no legal or financial responsibility whatsoever in the arrangements. In case of disputes, CUHK may, upon request, assist with investigation and communication.

3. Henderson requests that successful applicants must commit to a full-year tenancy.

4. Rental payments are non-refundable under any circumstances. Henderson will refund the deposit upon completion of the lease agreement, unless they use the deposit to cure a default of tenant, to pay damages for tenant's breach of the Lease, or to restore the property.

5. Room or roommate change requests will not be entertained.

6. The agreement is non-transferable. Sub-letting, unauthorized room sharing and room swapping are strictly prohibited.

7. I agree to comply with the Rules and Regulations promulgated by Henderson from time to time. I understand that violations may result in disciplinary action.

8. I acknowledge and consent that representatives from Henderson, CUHK, or law enforcement may enter my room without prior notice in cases of emergency, suspected regulation violations, or suspected criminal activity.

9. I understand that provision of information is entirely on a voluntary basis and for the purpose of assisting the University to provide roommate matching service.

10. I understand that acceptance of the matching shall be my own decision on a voluntary basis.
