The programme invites internationally renowned scholars to visit the College every year to promote cultural and academic exchanges between the scholar and the College members. The Scheme for 2025-26 is now open for nomination, and the deadline is by 28 February 2025, noon (Friday). Things to note: Nominee • The nominee must be scholastically distinguished. • The nominee should be a good speaker. • The nominee can speak on topics of general interests on top of his/her own specialty. Nominator • The nominator must be a member of the United College. • They must be able to provide detailed information about the nominee. • They should be responsible for receiving the invited scholar and coordinating activities during the visit of the invited scholar. • The readiness of the nominating department to receive the invited scholar is essential and must be assured. • They should assist in preparing the public lecture materials for future publication. 聯合書院傑出訪問學人計劃網站： https://www.uc.cuhk.edu.hk/tc/student-corner/distinguished-visiting-scholar-scheme/ 由書院基金會資助，書院於1981年起設「到訪傑出學人計劃」，每年邀請世界傑出學人蒞臨書院講學，促進學者與書院成員在文化及學術上的交流。 2025年至2026年度的聯合書院「到訪傑出學人」計劃現已接受提名，提名將於2025年2月28日中午截止。 注意事項: 侯選人 • 必須在學術成就上表現突出。 • 必須為一名優秀的演講者。 • 除了自己的專業外，還能就一般同學/教職員感興趣的主題進行演講。 提名人 • 必須為聯合書院的成員。 • 必須提供侯選人的詳細資料。 • 必須負責接待到訪學人及統籌其到訪期間的活動。 • 必須保證其部門願意接待到訪學人。 • 必須協助準備公開講座資料，以供未來出版。
