This summer workshop aims to address the intersections of gender, disability, and innovation with a focus on digital, environmental, and social justice in the post-pandemic ableist world. The workshop aims to foster a nuanced understanding of the intricate relationships between technological advancements and different gendered social dynamics. Topics Covered • Disability and Feminist Discussions • Gender, Disability, and the Digitalization of Work • Digitalization, Justice, and Empowerment in the Post-Pandemic Ableism Hosted Institutions Gender Studies Programme, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Centre for Gender Studies, Karlstad University & Digital Well Arena Department of Sociology, National Taipei University & The NTPU Flagship Project Targeted Audience The workshop is for MA-level students or final-year undergraduate students around the world. The number of student participants is limited to 30. We highly welcome international students to apply. Application Deadline: 23 April 2024 (Tue) Application Process Students are required to have a sufficiency in English as the digital workshop will be conducted in English.
