A flag-raising ceremony is held at the flag-hoisting platform of the Central Steps (next to the University’s main library) every Monday during term time (including the summer session) and also on specific dates, covering the National Day (1 October), CUHK Foundation Day (17 October), New Year’s Day (1 January) and HKSAR Establishment Day (1 July).
