博群香港文化導賞計劃：墳場內的香港故事 I·CARE Hong Kong Cultural Tours Project: Stories of Hong Kong in Cemetery

「博群香港文化導賞計劃」除招募同學接受超過半年嚴謹訓練，繼而帶領免費導賞團服務有需要人士外，亦經常舉辦單次的導賞團，讓同學了解本城故事及追尋其歷史。本計劃現委聘「程尋香港」創辦人溫佐治先生主理一團，詳情如下：

內　　容：到訪本地歷史最悠久的公共墳場，從長眠於此之近代史名人（如革命烈士楊衢雲、政商巨人何東爵士）的故事，了解香港的傳奇歲月。

On top of recruiting students to undergo rigorous training for over half a year before letting them serve as docents to lead free cultural tours in order to serve the needy, the I·CARE Hong Kong Cultural Tours Project usually organises one-off guided tours to facilitate students’ discovery of Hong Kong stories. The project has lately engaged Mr. George Wan, founder of the Hide and Seek Tour, to preside over one tour with details as follows:

Location : Hong Kong Cemetery (Happy Valley)

Content : To learn about Hong Kong’s legendary years through the stories of grandees buried in this city’s oldest public cemetery (e.g. famous revolutionist Yeung Ku-wan, and political and business titan Sir Robert Hotung)
Target : Undergraduate and full-time research postgraduate students
Fee : Free of charge
Deposit : HK$100 (refunded upon attendance on the event day)
Deadline : 20 September 2022 (Tuesday)
