REGISTRATION FOR ACCESS to LiHS CORE and LKS TOP FACILITIES

Members of the Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences (LiHS) and the Faculty of Medicine, CUHK may request for access to LiHS Core and LKS TOP Facilities with this online registration form.

Submitted request shall be sent to corresponding Principal Investigator for endorsement, and access shall be granted in 3 working days from the receipt of endorsement.

Terms & Conditions :

1. User Responsibilities: All users must adhere to the rules and guidelines for each equipment. Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences (LiHS) reserves the right to blacklist users who display inconsiderate or irresponsible behaviour.

2. Access Restrictions: Access to the Core and LKS TOP Facilities (Rooms 804 and 504 of the Li Ka Shing Medical Sciences Building) is restricted after regular opening hours for security reasons. Therefore, after-hours access is limited to registered users with prior reservations. To reserve, please email lihscore@cuhk.edu.hk by 5 PM on any working day.

3. Cancellation Policy: Full charges apply for no-shows, late arrivals, or cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled booking. Users must notify core lab staff via email to cancel appointments.

4. Data Management: To maintain optimal performance, data files will be deleted after one month without further notice. This is necessary to free up space on the hard disk.

5. Liability Disclaimer: LiHS is not liable for any loss of cells, reagents, data, or similar items due to failures in the platforms or the Institute's infrastructure.

6. Liability for Negligence: LiHS reserves the right to seek compensation for any liabilities or expenses incurred due to negligence, accidents, or violations of guidelines by users.
