Hong Kong Start-ups Survey

Introduction and Objectives

This is a preliminary survey undertaken by the APEC Study Centre of the Chinese University of Hong Kong regarding the developments and challenges of start-up businesses in Hong Kong. The objectives are the following:
  1. (i) understanding the operating status, technology level and ecosystem of start-up businesses in Hong Kong;
  2. (ii) reviewing their possible interaction and operation in the Greater Bay Area; and
  3. (iii) assessing their short-term business prospects, challenges and opportunities.
Research findings would be provided to the relevant authorities in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area for their policy considerations.

Regarding the objective, the eligible participators will be business founders/entrepreneurs.

The questionnaire could be completed in 8 minutes. Participation is voluntary and no sensitive personal information will be required. Your identity, participation and answers will be kept confidential.
