Montreal Cognitive Assessment Hong Kong Version (HK-MoCA) – Train-the-Trainer Certificate Workshop 2018 - Registration Form (Healthcare Professionals)

We are pleased to announce that an identical workshop of the “Montreal Cognitive Assessment Hong Kong Version (HK-MoCA) Train-the-Trainer Certificate Workshop 2018”, organised by Division of Neurology, Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, Faculty of Medicine at CUHK, will be held on 4 December 2018 (Tuesday). Registration is now open.

With the rapidly aging population in Hong Kong, the number of people suffering from cognitive impairment is in the rising trend. As the HK-MoCA and HK-MoCA 5-Min Protocol have been listed by the Hospital Authority as recommended cognitive screening tools for screening of cognitive impairment, the use of HK-MoCA is expected to increase in community settings. In response to the rising demand for trained professionals on the administration of HK-MoCA, this workshop will cover the following areas:
• Essential skills in standardized administration and scoring of the HK-MoCA and HK-MoCA 5-Min Protocol using local norms for cognitive screening
• The recently published alternate version of the HK-MoCA and the HK-MoCA 5-Min Protocol
Methods for converting scores from traditional cognitive screening tool to HK-MoCA and the HK-MoCA 5-Min Protocol

Participants who have attended the full lecture and achieved ≧ 70% in the written test will receive a Certificate of Completion as a proof of having received training on the administration of HK-MoCA at the Division of Neurology at CUHK.
