Notes

(1) Conference fee includes registration, lunch & refreshments, and participation in one field trip.

(2) Foreign visitors who intend to join the field trip to Shenzhen in mainland China must check whether they need an additional entry visa for mainland China. They should also arrange this visa at the nearest local Chinese Embassy before departure for Hong Kong.

(3) Maximum two co-authors of the same poster can be registered as “Regular Registration / Poster”.

All participants have to register for the conference. Please note that at least one author from each paper must register in order to be listed in the final conference programme.

Payment Method

Payment is required upon online registration. We accept online payment by credit card (VISA/MasterCard/UnionPay) which will be charged in Hong Kong dollars. The exact amount of the registration fee in the registrant’s currency will be based on the exchange rate on the date of transaction.

Cancellation and Refund

We understand that unforeseen events may change a person’s ability to attend the conference. If you have registered and are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to a colleague within your organization or to your co-author. To cancel registration, a cancellation request must be submitted in writing via an email sent to the Conference organizer at ifou2017@cuhk.edu.hk. Cancellation received on or before 30 September 2017 (China/Hong Kong Time) will incur an administration fee. The refund with 80% of the registration fee will be made in a cheque in Hong Kong dollars. If the cancellation request is not received before the cancellation deadline (30 September 2017), no refund will be issued. After this date, refunds cannot be granted due to contractual obligations and guarantees.

III. Personal Information Collection Statement*

The personal information collected will be used by the authorized personnel and service providers for the purposes of processing registration and organizing the 10th Conference of the International Forum on Urbanism (IFoU): The Entrepreneurial City.
