各位老師、同學：

虎年將至，先祝大家身心康泰，虎年進步！上半年平穩的疫情下，同學都能夠正常上課，怎料年關將至，疫情重臨，一下子又恢復到年前的景象。街上人流稀疏，高防護口罩上露出憂慮的眼神 ，電視上不斷呈現的是檢測站中的人龍。也許，禍福相依，跌宕起伏，就是這世界的新常態。

學校更已進入新常態2.0。大中小學停課一聲令下，學校不消一刻便由面授轉成網授。老師更是氣定神閑，Web Cam早架在屏幕上，什麼 Zoom, Google classroom, MS Teams.. 都已駕輕就熟。同學嗎，該是悲喜交集，少見些朋友，卻多了點自由，其實身邊也有不少學生說頗喜歡網課。不過，偌大的校園沒有人跑步、打球、Dem Beat，沒有了青春綻放的笑聲，顯得有點寂寞。

疫情令我們反思傳統教學的意義，難道老師不教，學生就不能自學嗎？ 難道沒有考試的壓力，學生就沒有學習的動機嗎？ 從教育效能看，中小學網授可能不如面授，特別對欠自律和動機的同學，但這恰好反映了香港教育的不足，也許這是個契機讓我們開拓另一片天空 ！

School Partnership Scheme - Annual Seminar 2022-23

To promote teacher professional development and enhance collaborations between schools and the Faculty, an Annual Seminar entitled "AI Competence for all Teachers" was held on 16 June 2023. We were honored to have Professor Thomas Chiu from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction of our Faculty as the guest speaker to explore how the AI technologies work and make impacts on our school education, which change our pedagogy and assessment, and student expected learning outcomes. Besides that, we also invited the awardee of 2022-23 Exemplary School Mentor and 2019 PGDE Biology graduate to share on topic of  “Professional Growth of Young Teachers” with the audience.
