| It's Showtime |
Graduates of the Higher Diploma Programme in Fashion Design and Product Development held a fashion show on July 6, 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre as part of the School's 45th anniversary celebrations. Budding talents showcased their accomplishments over the past three years and competed to be the champion, first runner-up and second-runner up. The Coats Creativity Award and the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association Best Collection Award were also presented.

| New Programmes and Learning Opportunities on Offer |
To cater to the diverse needs of enthusiastic learners, the School has introduced a number of programmes in the Autumn Prospectus just launched. These programmes cover disciplines including art and design, humanities, creative media, music, business and management, accounting and finance, social sciences, applied sciences, languages, health care, information technology and technology management, and nature and environment.

| New Higher Diploma Programmes Popular among Secondary School Graduates |
The School has been offering full-time Higher Diploma programmes to secondary school leavers since 2002, in support of the government's efforts to enhance access to higher education in Hong Kong. The increasing number of students admitted in recent years is testimony to our high quality and commitment to excellence.

Fifty graduating students of our Higher Diploma Programme in Commercial Design participated in a graduate exhibition entitled "TeleMicro" held at City Hall from July 13 to 15, 2010, exploring their creative boundaries.

| Experiencing the World for a Summer |
To enhance the global perspectives of our higher diploma students, the School offers a wide range of overseas and mainland exchange and internship opportunities. This summer, many of our students spent their holiday wisely – embarking on journeys to various parts of the world to broaden their horizons.

| 'Training' for Life's Journey |
Following the success last year, the School was very glad to collaborate with the MTR again to offer the 'Train' for Life's Journeys Programme 2010 to 100 selected Form 5 graduates this summer. The multidimensional training programme aimed at motivating Form 5 graduates and offering them the opportunity to broaden their horizons and learn valuable life skills through training, internships and interaction with others. This ten-day programme included a two-day, one-night experiental training camp on the CUHK campus and four days of classes offered by the School.
