And Let's Bury the Hatchet

Professor Michael Hui
Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK

Positive Communication

Go for a leisurely stroll around the hilly CUHK campus, and it comes as no surprise to find buildings that look brand new from construction or renovation.  Following the increasing number of students and academic disciplines in recent years, employees currently in service have passed the 7,000 mark, which is indeed a team of significant size.  To further provide a better university's working environment, "Positive Workplace and Staff Development Committee" (the "Committee") was officially set up in October 2013 (following a re-constitution of the "Staff Training and Development Committee") to promote the concept of positive communication within the university, taking on the mission to develop mutual trust and understanding among employees.

EAP Service: "Management Referral"
In the present knowledge economy, there is more to the role of management than managing staff as many of them have to manage themselves, their time and other activities independently. It has become the responsibilities of management to engage their staff and assist them in realizing their talents and potentials as well as striking a balance between professional and personal successes and well-being.
