CUHK Obtains HK$74 Million Grant for Primary and Secondary School Development
The Chinese University of Hong Kong was awarded a grant of HK$74 million by the HKSAR government to provide professional support to principals and teachers of primary and secondary schools through two projects: Partnership for Improvement of Learning and Teaching and Quality School Improvement. The largest grant ever awarded to a tertiary institution in Hong Kong for such purposes, it will help position the University as an Asian centre of excellence in school development.
CUHK's MBA Programme in Finance Ranked Among the Most Influential in China
The MBA Programme in Finance offered jointly by The Chinese University and Tsinghua University in Beijing has been ranked top 10 by the World Business Newswire in its annual ranking of 'The Most Influential Mainland China-Foreign (Including Hong Kong) Partnership MBAs'. It is the only programme involving a Hong Kong institution to make the list.
CUHK Department of Economics Tops Ranking in Hong Kong
The Department of Economics of The Chinese University has been ranked number one by the Hong Kong Economic Journal Monthly among all economics programmes provided by the seven universities in the territory. The department came first in all three criteria adopted by the magazine—overall research performance, proportion of teaching staff with doctoral degrees, and employers' evaluation of graduates.
