Office of Academic Links relocated to the Yasumoto International Academic Park
OAL was relocated to the Yasumoto International Academic Park (Room 1303, 13/F).

The Office of Academic Links (OAL) was relocated to the Yasumoto International Academic Park (Room 1303, 13/F) on 4 July 2013. A house-warming reception was hosted by Prof. Gordon Cheung, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor, on 18 July with colleagues of OAL, the Office of Academic Links (China) and the Office of Summer Programmes, welcoming fellow colleagues at the University to their new offices.

A Welcoming Dinner kicked off the ISS on 2 July.

This summer, some 40 students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) immerse themselves in a foreign culture and take part in credit-bearing courses, company visits and cultural programmes through the summer-to-summer exchange programme. On campus, CUHK's International Summer School is hosting some 500 international students.

A 7-member delegation led by Prof. Udom Kachintorn (fourth from right), Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, visited CUHK on 13 June 2013.
  • The Office of Academic Links (OAL) received 15 visiting delegations between 21 May and 28 July 2013. The delegations learnt about CUHK's teaching and research priorities and explored opportunities for collaboration with CUHK representatives.
