The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is committed to strengthening collaborations and establishing linkages with institutions around the world to support its staff and students in the pursuit of excellence in their field of research and learning. This is exemplified by the Vice-Chancellor's recent visits to the Universities of Cambridge, Oxford and Sussex, the University's engagement in the  Worldwide Universities Network, and the new funding schemes to support faculty exchange and research collaboration with overseas institutions.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a member of the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN), an exclusive network of 17 research-led universities across nine countries. Committed to addressing the world's most urgent challenges, WUN supports and facilitates research collaborations in four Global Challenge areas among its members.

Exchange students interact with local students through the Teaching-in-China Programme.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) organises a variety of activities to enrich international and local students' experience and facilitate their cultural exchange.

  • Service learning programmes enrich exchange and local students' experience
  • Vice-Chancellor hosts a "Cultural Night" party to foster friendship and promote exchange
  • Pre-departure briefing session for CUHK students going on exchange in 2014–15
  • CUHK economic student awarded a full scholarship to pursue PhD study at Washington University in St. Louis

Past visits:

  • The Office of Academic Links (OAL) received 21 visiting delegations between 22 February and 27 April 2014. The delegations learned about CUHK's teaching and research priorities and explored opportunities for collaboration with CUHK representatives.
