The partnership between the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and Brown University (Brown) in the US has been further strengthened through the signing of three memoranda of understanding when Professor Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor and President of CUHK visited Brown on 23 August 2011.

News on Student Exchange
Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK (middle, second row), welcomed the 500 international students from 20 countries at an orientation.

During the period from 26 June to 1 August 2011, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) played host to some 500 international students from over 20 countries who attended CUHK's International Summer School (ISS).

Mr. Greg Ibach (far left), Director of Agriculture for the State of Nebraska and Ms. Angel Lau (second from left), EducationUSA Advisor, Consulate General of the United States Hong Kong & Macau visited CUHK on 16 August 2011 and met with CUHK representatives, Prof. Jack Cheng (far right), Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Ms. Shally Fan (second from right), Associate Director of Academic Links to explore opportunities for collaboration.

Past Visits:

  • The Office of Academic Links (OAL) received 13 visiting delegations between 28 June and 29 August 2011. The delegations learnt about CUHK's teaching and research priorities and met with various CUHK representatives to explore opportunities for collaboration.
