World Korean Speech Contest

Lee Chin Cheung, a part-time student who has been studying Korean at the School since 2003, won the Merit Award at the World Korean Speech Contest held in South Korea on 30 July. This is his second award in a year, after receiving the 3rd runner-up in the Korean Speech Contest held by our School in 2010.

Lee, having attained Grade 9 in Advanced Korean, one of the most demanding part-time Korean programmes in Hong Kong, shared with us the tips for learning languages: "Expose yourself to the language through music or movies, and take different levels of examinations to raise your motivation to learn".
