After registering for the CUHK Wi-Fi Hotspot Partnership Programme, CUHK students and staff can access free  WiFi  with (SSID / WiFi Name)  eduroam and CSL Wi-Fi networks. The programme helps users stay connected beyond campus at local sister institutions, 24-hour convenience stores, shopping malls and even overseas educational institutions.

Important note: Due to a business decision by the service provider and low usage, the Y5ZONE Wi-Fi service was decommissioned on 31 May 2026.
