Welcome Home!

The ever first CUSCS Alumni Homecoming was successfully concluded on 19 September.  Some 200 alumni gathered at the EOC Learning Centre to meet and chat with teachers and friends, and to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.  A tea reception and a wide range of activities including a lantern workshop, Japanese and Korean costume fitting and a lantern quiz were organised to welcome alumni home.

At the tea reception, Willa Yip, alumna of Higher Diploma Programme, and Viola Chan, alumna of Global Career Development Facilitor Programme, presented a lantern and a wishing tree to Dr. Ella Chan, Director, and Dr. Alex Ng, Associate Director of the School, symbolising the reunion of teachers and students.  Jason Ho, alumnus and speaker of a cocktail making workshop, and Jason Kong, alumnus and recipient of 2012 Award for Young Artist (Xiqu), joined the mooncake cutting ceremony at the reception.

The Continuing Education Programmes Open House was held on the same day.  Exhibitions, talks and workshops of various themes were organised to help visitors familiar with different courses and programmes offered by the School.
