On 9 Dec 2024, ITSC informed all students and staff through mass mail regarding “Online Archive Mailbox for M365 Email Enabled from May 2025”. While your mailbox is getting bigger over time, enabling online archive mailbox for M365 helps to free up storage space and improve loading time in your primary mailbox.   You can continue to access all your emails, Notes, Calendar and Tasks items in Outlook, but items over two years will be auto transferred to the new mailbox named Online Archive Mailbox. 

Regular Housekeeping

This Online Archive Mailbox is one of the measures to address the storage reduction of M365 affecting local and universities worldwide.  As always, to keep your storage below the limit, we recommend regular housekeeping.   The new storage reduction will also affect OneDrive.  Stay tuned for our further announcement.
