| Warm welcome for new CUSCS students | |

The Diploma Programme in Foundation Studies (DFS) had its Inauguration Ceremony on 10 September. Dr. Ella Chan urged students to grasp every opportunity to learn and progress. Dr. Vaughan Mak, DFS Programme Director advised students to make use of the different services offered by the Language Learning Enhancement Centre to strengthen their language ability.

The Inauguration Ceremony and Orientation for Higher Diploma Programmes was held at CUHK on 9 September. In her welcoming address, Dr. Ella Chan, Director of the School, encouraged new students to equip themselves through the wide range of exchange and service programmes offered by the School. Professor Michael Hui, Pro-Chancellor of CUHK, who officiated at the Ceremony, recommended students to enhance their language ability, international perspective and experience as well as analytical and problem-solving skills. In the orientation session that followed, Mr. Daniel Chong, Chief Executive Officer of YATA Limited, shared that the key to live a successful life begins with self-respect.
