Update on Student Activities

The School believes that school life is one of the most important learning experiences and therefore organises a variety of extracurricular activities which allow our students to fully explore their potential and creativity. The CUSCS Singing Contest 2010-2011 was held on 12 February, with 11 talented finalists competing for the Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-Up, Best Stage Performance and Most Favourite Candidate awards. Ms Cheung Choi Hung walked away with the Champion and Best Stage Performance honours. Congratulations to all of the awardees!

To help our students with their career planning, the School works closely with more than 100 major public and commercial organisations to offer students internship opportunities and career talks. On 23 March, the School invited representatives from Hong Kong Disneyland to share their insights into working at the theme park. Mr Cheuk Wing Kin from the Human Resource Department introduced the job opportunities offered by Hong Kong Disneyland, and gave valuable advice on how to prepare for the positions. Ms Fion Lai, the 2011 Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Ambassador, shared her career experiences with our students. The talk concluded with a lively question and answer session between the enthusiastic students and guest speakers.

The winners of the singing contest, Ms Cheung Choi Hung (middle), the champion and the Best Stage Performance, Ms Tan Park Yan (left), the 1st runner-up and Mr Lee Ka Yin (right), the 2nd runner-up.
