Prof. Tang Sze Wing, Director of CLRC and the Partner Base, said that CLRC “is honoured to be a part of this important initiative. We will cherish this valuable opportunity and strive to promote the sound development of spoken and written language by upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground, so as to live up to the expectations of all parties.” He added that the Partner Base will “take on the noble mission of promoting standard Chinese, fostering a stronger sense of cultural identity among local communities, and working together with all sides towards a shared future.” |
