When away from office, colleagues might consider using Teams to contact CUHK staff other than traditional phone calls or calls forwarding to their own mobile phones.

Here we list some of the basic calling functions supported by Teams:

• Start a call from a chat in Teams
• Transfer a call with / without consulting your colleagues
• Leave a voicemail when your colleague is offline / unavailable
  Teams will bring you to leave a voicemail when the teams call has not been answered or your colleague is offline. The voicemail will be sent to your colleague as an email with
  • Subject: Voicemail
  • Sender: Your CUHK email address
  • Message: the voicemail in MP3 format
• Check voicemail at Teams
• Share screen and turn on video

While using Teams, kindly note that

• CUHK Teams does not support calling plans at the moment. Therefore, dial a number is not supported.
• Calls should be made to CUHK staff which you could search in Teams.
