Won "Global Scholarship Programme for Research Excellence - CNOOC Grants for 2010-11"

Five of our PhD students have been selected to receive an award under the Global Scholarship Programme for Research Excellence – CNOOC Grants for 2010-11.

The students are:

  • Ms Midori Courtice; she will undertake a research at Department of Public Health, The University of Tokyo, Japan
  • Ms Sarah Rafat Hossain; she will undertake a research at School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, Yale University, USA
  • Mr WANG Haoxiang Harry will undertake a research at Department of Public Health, University of Oxford, UK
  • Ms FONG Hildy Felicia; she will undertake a research at Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge
  • UK Mr LI Haochu; he will undertake a research at Department of Medicine, Brown University, USA
The scholarship will support our students to undertake research placements at the most prestigious universities in the world, which will strengthen our existing collaborations with our counterparts as well as the research of our students.
