10th Anniversary of Department of Cultural and Religious Studies

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies. A series of celebratory events have been organized, with the kick-off ceremony held earlier in January. These events focused on the review and prospects of the research and academic developments of the three main areas of the Department: Cultural Studies, Religious Studies and Theological Studies.

The 10th anniversary banquet held on 13 June 2014 at Chung Chi College Staff Club marked the climax of these activities. Around 200 alumni, students, staff and friends gathered together to share the joy of the 10th anniversary of the Department.

Celebratory events include World Religion Day, Conference on Lay Groups and Religious Innovations in Qing Daoism: Lüzu and Other Cults will be organized in coming months. Please visit the Department website www2.crs.cuhk.edu.hk/crs10th/ for details.
