| Delegation from Peking University and Northwest A&F University visited SHHO respectively | |
| Delegation from Peking University, led by Prof. Ye Jingyi, Vice Chairman of University Council, visited S.H. Ho College on 5th October 2012 to learn about the College's system of student financial aid as well as its managerial experience. One week earlier on 26 September, representatives of Northwest A&F University, including Prof. Zhang Guangqiang, Director of School Affairs Commission; Prof. Zhao Zhong, Managing Vice President, and other 10 guests also paid a visit to the College. Other members of the delegation from Peking Univeristy include Prof. Yang Aimin, Director of Office of Student Financial Aid and Mr. Chen Chunbao, Deputy Chief of Division of Exchange Programmes & Student Affairs. College Secretary of SHHO Mr. Andrew Lau received the delegation and introduced SHHO as a new college of CUHK. After the meetings and discussions, the delegation took tour around the campus. The delegates gained more information about the system of student financial aid in SHHO, and the visit also nurtured friendship between Peking University and S.H. Ho College. In the meetings with delegation from Northwest A&F University, Prof. Samuel Sun, Master of S.H. Ho College, introduced the collegiate system of CUHK and SHHO's 3-year experience in whole person education. He also explained to the guests SHHO's concept of home and spirits of innovation, excellence and service. The delegation was highly interested in student activities and member-student mentorship within the College. Afterwards, visitors toured around the campus and expressed their appreciation of the diversity of college facilities. |
