The School fully supports its students in their efforts to build self-confidence and experience in various open competitions. This April, a number of students were awarded in two major business contests.

Veronica Cheung, Cynthia Leung, Michelle Ho and Eling Chan, students of the HD Programme in Business and Corporate Administration, won the 1st Runner-up in the  Accounting and Business Management Case Competition organised by Hong Kong Institute of Accredited Accounting Technicians. The team was shortlisted as one of the top six out of 187 teams. The competition aimed to enhance sub-degree students' ability to use accounting information for business development and to sharpen their soft skills as required in today's business world.

Anthony Lau, Arthur Chin, Cheung Hoi Ching and Tse Man Ching, students of the HD Programme in Professional Accounting, won the Silver Award at the Best Innovation Awards 2011. Another four teams of HD in Business Studies students won four significant awards at the competition, including the CITIC Telecom Award, the Ngong Ping 360 Award and the Ocean Park Award.

We congratulate all awardees on their achievements and look forward to seeing more of our students unlocking their potential and emerging with flying colours.

The awardees of 2010/11 HKIAAT Accounting and Business Management Case Competition shared the joy with the School's instructors.

The winning team received the Silver Award at the Best Innovation Awards 2011.
