Design students shine in Fur Design Competition

Chiu Tsz-ting, a student of Higher Diploma Programme in Fashion Design and Business, was named Winner of the Fur Combination Category in the Hong Kong Fur Design Competition 2015 held on 8 January 2015 while her classmate, Ng Yin-lam, snatched the Commercial Award.

Yin-lam was thrilled to receive the Commercial Award and regarded it as an invaluable experience which helped him balance design and marketability.  He was awarded a study trip to Toronto, Canada to learn more about the industry.

Tsz-ting was delighted to receive the award.  "It boosts my confidence and I am very pleased to have enrolled in the School's fashion design programme," she said.  She was awarded a one-week study trip to Copenhagen, Denmark, and her work will represent Hong Kong at the "ReMix 2015", an international fashion and fur competition organised by The International Fur Federation.
