THM student wins "The Club Managers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA) Scholarship"

Sonia Cheung, a student of Higher Diploma Programme in Tourism and Hospitality Management, completed her 3-month internship with the Pacific Club last summer.  With her outstanding performance during the internship, Sonia was recommended to participate in "The Club Managers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA) Scholarship Programme" and won the scholarship of HK$ 25,000.  Sonia regarded her nomination as tremendously encouraging, and commented that the process itself was more important than the result. "During my preparation for the presentation – where there was stiff competition from other candidates for the scholarship – my lecturers gave me enormous support and I've learnt a lot," said Sonia.
