Training Programme for the Senior Administrative Staff from Heilongjiang Higher Education Institutions (Cycle 3)

 The School is committed to providing high quality and up-to-date corporate training programmes to meet the needs of various private and public organisations in Hong Kong and the Mainland. Last November, we offered a training programme (黑龍江省普通高校領導香港高級研討班) for the senior administrative staff of several tertiary institutions in Heilongjiang. The programme was so popular that its third cycle was held. A total of 31 senior administration staff from Heilongjiang Higher Education Institutions attended the programme.

We were privileged to have a number of CUHK senior members as well as senior members of other reputable organisations to deliver the Programme: Prof Ambrose KING, former CUHK Vice-Chancellor; Prof Henry N C WONG and Prof Jack C Y CHENG, Pro-Vice-Chancellors of CUHK; Prof YEUNG Yue Man, Former Head of Shaw College; Prof LEUNG Yuen Sang, Head of Chung Chi College; Prof WONG Wing Shing, Dean of Graduate School, CUHK; Ms WONG Wing, Director, Office of Academic Links (China), CUHK; Mr Raymond Y C LEUNG, Director of Student Affairs, CUHK; Mr YUEN Kin Chung, Deputy Director of Personnel, CUHK; Ms Sally CHING, Assistant Registrar of Academic and Quality Section, CUHK; Prof LAM Lai Chuen, Assistant Professor, Centre for Learning Enhancement and Research, CUHK; Mr Peter CHEUNG, Secretary-General, The Federation for Continuing Education in Tertiary Institutions; Mr WONG Tak Fai, Principal Project Fellow, the Industrial Centre of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Prof SHIH Chi Ping, commentator of Phoenix Satellite Television Co. Ltd.

The programme concluded with tours of CUHK's Shaw College Student Hostel, Fok Ying Tung Remote Sensing Science Building, laboratories of the Physics Department; Education Bureau of HKSAR as well as the other seven tertiary institutions in Hong Kong for exchange purpose.
