Five design students snatch 7 awards in the 14th Footwear Design Competition Hong Kong

 Five students of Higher Diploma Programme in Fashion Design and Business, and Higher Diploma Programme in Commercial Design won seven awards in the 14th Footwear Design Competition including the Overall Champion, Gold and Bronze Awards in various categories.

Ivanka Cheung, a student of Higher Diploma Programme in Fashion Design and Business, took the Overall Champion, the Gold Award in the "Ladies' Shoes" Category and the Gold Award in "Ladies' Shoes and Bags" Category.  Ivanka had worked in various industries for several years before going back to school.  The recognition proved that she had made a right decision.  She is planning to work in the fashion design industry to gain practical experience before pursuing a bachelor's degree.

Other awardees included So Hiu-tung, a student of Higher Diploma Programme in Fashion Design and Business, Kenny Choi, a student of Higher Diploma Programme in Fashion Design and Product Development (now renamed as Higher Diploma Programme in Fashion Design and Business), Yip Kwan-ho and Chiu Hiu-chi, students of Higher Diploma Programme in Commercial Design.
