The crown of the "feng" reflects the strong bond between the School and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, connecting the School to the University's rich heritage. The final initials of the new logo, "SCS", signify Success, Commitment to our community and Sincerity. The stylised final "S" is composed of two arcs representing the two poles of the Earth. The joint marks the interaction between the two poles, which reinforces the relationship between the School and society, and underlines the importance of whole-person education. The link between the "C" and "S" further strengthens the core concept of continuing and lifelong education.

The new emblem also marks another prestigious milestone of the School. Five new academies, each with a unique vision and a distinct focus of development, have been established to meet society's changing demands for continuing education.

Riding on the strengths of our well-established art and design programmes, the Creative Academy will nurture professionals for the creative industries and art field. Reinforcing our tradition of whole-person development and humanities education, the Liberal Arts Academy will offer an array of liberal arts programmes for those who want to develop quality lives. The Management Academy will aim at fostering top-notch executives and professionals in areas such as marketing, human resources, accounting and finance and computer science for the public and private sectors. The Professional Development Academy will focus on corporate training and professional qualification examinations by offering tailor-made programmes and examination preparatory courses to corporate employees in Hong Kong, the mainland and overseas. The Advanced Development Academy will serve mature citizens who would like to pursue lifelong learning by offering diversified life-enrichment programmes, with 20% discount on specified courses for learners aged 50 or above. Stay tuned for the programmes and courses offered by the academies on the School website!
