Ms. Sophie S.S. Liu, Year 3 Ph.D. student participating in the "CUHK-NIH Graduate Partnerships Program", received the "Endocrine Society Outstanding Abstract Award" in conjunction with ICE/ENDO 2014 in Chicago, United States. The Award provided travel grants to outstanding abstracts submitted by in-training post-docs, graduate students, and new faculty who were accepted to present their research during the ICE/ENDO 2014 annual meeting held between 21 June and 24 June 2014. Ms. Liu was presented with an award certificate and a travel award of US$500 for her outstanding abstract displayed during the morning plenary session of the said annual meeting. We sincerely congratulate Ms. Liu on this achievement, and wish her continued success in research endeavors in the future.
