Microsoft's " Storage Changes for Microsoft 365 Education | Microsoft Education" initiative has brought an end to complimentary storage for universities, impacting institutions worldwide, including ours. In response to substantial increase in licensing costs, the University is implementing several strategies to minimize user impact, including deploying an email archiving solution and reducing individual storage limits. As published on ITSC eNewsletter – 2025 May issue, the storage quota limit to staff, student and project accounts on OneDrive and Email began to reduce starting from July 2025.
