Field Study on Green Building Technology at Vanke Building Research Center 11 November 2017 Led by Dr. Zhang Zhidong, Executive Council Member of China Green Building (Hong Kong) Council, students observed the experience of building energy conservation, monitoring of building performance and the innovative building technologies under experiments.
Field Study on Urban Sewage Management at Ma On Shan Water Treatment Works 1 February 2018 Led by Prof. David Chen, Professor of Department of Geography and Resource Management, CUHK, students investigated about environmentally friendly urban sewage solutions and management strategies. Field Study on Human Oriented Community Design at Yau Tong and Domain 3 February 2018 Led by Mr. Stephen Yim, Chief Architect of Hong Kong Housing Authority, students observed the community design in the surrounding area of Domain at Yau Tong and discussed on the strategies implemented for communal life between multiple generations. Field Study on Hydrological Management at DSD Sha Tin Flood Control Center 8 February 2018 Led by Prof. David Chen, Professor of Department of Geography and Resource Management, CUHK, students investigated water supply management of Hong Kong and flood control solutions. Centre for Quality of Life Report Release of Results of the Survey (January 2017) on Public Perception of the Economic Conditions 5 February 2018 Indices of Consumer Confidence, Consumer Sentiment and Employment Confidence are reported.
