Prof. TONG Kai-yu Raymond won a Gold Medal at the 44th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva
Prof. TONG K. Y. Raymond from the Department of Electronic Engineering won a Gold Medal at the 44th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, which ran from 13 to 17 April 2016 and attracted over 700 exhibitors from 48 countries with 1,000 new inventions and products. 

The invention presented by Prof. TONG was a wearable exoskeleton robot for stroke rehabilitation.  It features intelligent motion sensors that identify the user's intentions, and provide support for different walking speeds and for climbing stairs.
