We have graduated!

 3 graduation ceremonies were held in June and July 2011. Let's share the joys and happiness!

Over 130 graduates attended the Graduation Ceremony of the Education for the Elderly Course Series (Cycle 6) held at Shaw College Lecture Theatre, CUHK on 13 July. The Programme was jointly organised by the School and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong (ELCHK). A cohort of 252 senior citizens graduated this year. The officiating guests were Prof Frederick Ma, Honorary Professor of the School of Economics and Finance, HKU, Ms Susan Chan, Assistant Chief Executive (Elderly Service) of ELCHK and Dr Victor Lee, Director of the School.

On 22 July, the School hosted the Graduation Ceremony of the Arboriculture Programme (Cycle 1 – Class A). Ir Wai Chi-sing, Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), HKSAR, Mr Patrick Lau, Chariman of the Hong Kong Trees Conservation Association and Dr Brandon Ng, Associate Director of the School, officiated at the Ceremony.

The Graduation Ceremony of the Certificate Programme in Daoist Culture (Cycle 4) was held on 23 July at Chung Chi College, CUHK. We were privileged to have Master Huang Zhian, Vice President of the Chinese Taoist Association, Ms Liao Xun, Deputy Director of the General Coordination Department, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong SAR, Master Tong Wai-ki, Chairman of the Hong Kong Taoist Association, Prof Lai Chi-tim, Director of the Centre for the Studies of Daoist Culture, CUHK and Dr Brandon Ng, Associate Director of the School, as the officiating guests at the Ceremony.
