To introduce the concept of creativity with real life examples, a tailor-made workshop conducted by Mr Bernard Suen, Project Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship in CUHK, and Director of Creativity Lab of Wu Yee Sun College, was held on 29 January 2015. The Scholarship was open for application in late January and closed in late March. A total of six individual applications and one team application were received. Interview conducted by a panel comprising Professor Julie Yu, Ms Michelle Lo and Mrs Amelia Wong was carried out in mid-April. After deliberation, it was unanimously agreed that the Julie Yu Scholarship ($50,000) be awarded to Mr Kevin Cheung, a Year 3 student in the Integrated BBA Programme, who proposed to develop a voice gallery that helped to capture the emotions and feelings of people through paintings. Kevin will share his winning proposal with other CWC students in the next academic year, the detailed arrangement will be announced in due course.
