CUHK ranked within Top 200 in the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2011

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has been ranked within top 200 in the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2011 published by the Center for World-Class Universities of Shanghai Jiao Tong University on 15 August 2011. There are two more Chinese Universities which are also ranked within top 200 and they are National Taiwan University and Tsinghua University.

Published annually since 2003, the Academic Ranking of World Universities ranks the world's top 500 universities based on the number of alumni and staff winning Nobel Prizes and Fields Medals, number of highly cited researchers selected by Thomson Scientific, number of articles published in journals of Nature and Science, number of articles indexed in Science Citation Index – Expanded and Social Sciences Citation Index, and per capita performance with respect to the size of an institution.

German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Information Centre Hong Kong & Macau

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Information Centre Hong Kong & Macau is an information hub that provides access to a wide range of information for people with an interest in studying or undertaking research projects in Germany. Offering consultation and support to students and researchers wishing to study and research in Germany, DAAD also promotes cooperation between Hong Kong and Macau education institutions with their German counterparts.
