CUSCS Further Expands Its International Network

CUSCS strives to elevate the quality of its professional and continuing education to a global level, and to expand its network with other high-calibre education institutions in different countries. The School is happy to announce new partnerships, in the first quarter of 2011, with Mokpo National University in South Korea, the University of Southern Mississippi in the United States, and the School of Continuing Studies, University of Toronto in Canada, respectively.

In January, a Memorandum of Understanding was forged between our School and Mokpo National University to promote cooperation between the two institutions. Our Higher Diploma students in Applied Korean Language and Culture as well as Trilingual Studies (English-Chinese-Korean) for Business Communication will now be able to transfer as juniors at the undergraduate level to Mokpo National University, provided that they have met all of the requirements set by the University.

In February, the School announced its collaboration with the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security of the University of Southern Mississippi to foster international cooperation in education, research and cultural exchange in sports venue operations, safety and security. Both institutions seek to develop mutually beneficial programmes for their students and faculty.

And in March, the School formed another trans-border alliance. Together with the School of Continuing Studies, University of Toronto, we will work to develop academic programmes, student exchanges and other initiatives to enhance the capacity of both institutions to deliver continuing education in a global context.

The School believes that our expanded international network will further enhance the quality of our education and bring mutual benefits to our students and partners.
