To broaden the students' horizon in art world abroad, the Department of Fine Arts organized a 11-day summer field study programme to three key US cities (New York, Princeton and Washington, D.C.) from 9 to 19 June. A total of 18 students joined the trip which was led by Professor Jenny So. They acquired the first-hand experience in the ways of making and writing about art by visiting museums, galleries, architectural sites, historical sites, art institutions and by interacting with local artists.
