A graduation tour comprising 16 graduates of MA Programme in Japanese Studies went for a four-day visit from 31 May to 3 June 2014 to Tokyo. They participated into various activities, such as visits to Yasukuni Shrine and Yūshūkan Museum and the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting with Mr. Matsumoto Mario, Senior Coordinator of First China and Mongolia Division of the Ministry broadened the students' understanding on current Japan-China relations. The exchange with the teachers and students from International Christian University enabled them to gain a deeper insight into the Japanese culture. The visit to The Tokyo Midtown Design Hub operated by The Japan Institute of Design Promotion deepened their knowledge on "Good Design Awards". It was a rewarding experience for the graduates as the tour exposed them to the diversity of Japanese culture and provided them a good chance for reflecting on the programme.
