Video Production Workshop Series

To address the needs of teaching-video production under the new normal, our Office invited the Centre for eLearning Innovation and Technology (ELITE) to organize a series of workshops that covered various video-editing strategies, skills, and tools, such as DaVinci Resolve, OBS, Animoto, and Powtoon, etc. to our Faculty’s student teachers and teaching staff.
Again, thanks Ms Flora Leung, the instructor from ELITE, for designing these hands-on workshops and providing a lot of practical advice on how to create interesting educational videos efficiently and effectively to the participants.

Basic Law Seminar

With the implementation of Basic Law Test (BLT) requirement for the newly-appointed teachers in public sector schools from the 2022/23 school year onwards and other policies for enhancing the understanding of Basic Law among students and teachers, school teachers need to equip themselves with sufficient knowledge to meet the requirement and expectation towards them.
The informative seminar conducted by Mr Kelvin Cheung, an experienced school educator in this field, was successfully held on 29 Dec 2021 to help our student teachers to better understand the Basic Law through exploring our history and various social issues.

ICAC Talk: Integrity
Teaching profession upholds high standards of professional integrity. To enhance the awareness of corruption, conflict of interest and integrity-related issues in schools, we are honored to collaborate with ICAC again to organize the talk on 6 Jan 2022.
The instructor, Mr Eric Wong from ICAC introduced the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance, with the use of authentic case studies to identify potential areas of corruption in schools and suggest preventive measures against bribery. Audiences were also provided with useful information on how to make effective ethical decisions when facing ethical dilemmas in the future.
