Prof. Song Xinyuan has been elected to the fellowship of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS). The IMS Fellowship honors their members’ outstanding research and professional contributions, which help keep IMS in a leading role in the fields of statistics and probability.
Prof. Song’s research interests cover the Bayesian method, latent variable models, nonparametric and semiparametric methods, statistical computing, statistical diagnostics and survival analysis.
