High Table Dinner-cum-Scholarship Presentation Ceremony

S.H. Ho College provides extensive scholarship opportunities to its students as a token of appreciation to students' ceaseless pursuit of distinguished performance and academic excellence. On November 13, the dining hall was filled with thundering applause during the scholarship presentation ceremony. Prof. Samuel Sun, Dr. Tzu-leung Ho and Mrs. Stella Ho presented 80 scholarship awards to the distinguished students. Before the High Table Dinner-cum-Scholarship Presentation Ceremony began, Dr. Ho briefly recalled the history of S.H. Ho College and the efforts the pioneers paid to encourage all the students to continue to pursue excellence.

After the sixty-eight scholarship recipients were awarded, Miss Wong Suet Yee, the student representative of those scholarship recipients, proceeded to the lectern and thanked college members for recognizing their efforts and fostering student development. "S.H. Ho College is a home that welcomes diversified cultures and a platform that fosters students' growth," said Wong. She thanked the college for offering an array of meaningful programmes like mentorship and voluntary service which greatly enrich students' life experiences.

Apart from scholarship presentation, the result of Jacobson Digital Storytelling Competition was also announced. The competition aims to encourage students to develop students' English proficiency by making effective use of written, spoken and visual language to create original, reflective and inspiring digital stories that capture meaningful and unforgettable experiences gained in college life. Mr. Lam Wai Ching, Mr. Chan Yuk Chun, Mr. William Wang and Mr. Tsang Fuk Cheung were awarded for their creativity and digital storytelling techniques demonstrated in their works. Among the awardees, Mr. William Wong's video themed Hawaii Polynesian Cultural Visit won the Champion and Most Reflective Award. Mr. Tsang Fuk Cheung whose video recorded his participation in C&D Xiamen International Marathon won the First Runner-up and Most Popular Award.  Dr. Kevin Chu, the General Manager of Jacobson Pharma Group, presented the awards to the winners.
